These are some of the names afforded to Usnea-  A common trype of tree lichen that grows around the world. Used for hundreds of years for its content in usnic acid. Usnic Acid (C18H16O7) is a potent antibiotic and antifungal chemical found within most Usnea species. Due to regulations, i am unable to post medicinal properties of herbs and plants, so i highly recommend that one does some serious research into this amazing lichen!

As a wild craft herb collector, i come across ALOT of Usnea, and have now decided to add this to our collection of herbs, making them available to you and your family ! Usnea can be used in herbal teas, tinctures, and made into a salve or healing balm.

We never damage any trees to collect resin, for herbs we reseed areas, and only pick 5% of a colony Everything is sun dried in small batches and stored in glass mason jars in a cool dark pantry.
