Everybody likes to drink their tea a certain way. Some people drink for flavor, others drink for medicine. Personally, i drink it for medicine, as a preventative measure mostly, but when i need it, i will brew up a combination. To get the best results and get the most out of my herbs, i like to boil a medium sized pot of water to a full rolling boil, ill add in my loose herbs and then turn off the heat. Then i let it sit for around an hour. i like cold tea, but if you prefer hot tea, then just leave it on a warm simmer. The longer you let the herbs sit, the more gets extracted from the leaf. Once its it fully extracted and my water has turned a very rich color, i use a fine strainer and strain my pot right into a jug. You can use an even finer strainer, but all those tiny micro bits of green are really healthy for your system, so thats up to you! Dispose of the used herb into the compost. If You prefer to make one cup at a time using a tea bag, fill your tea bag with 1 tsp for regular strength, 2 tsp for stronger, boil the water to a rolling boil and then pour into a heat safe mug. let your tea bag steep. The longer it steeps, the more is extracted from the plants!
