To get the best results from my herbal teas, i boil a medium sized pot of water on the stove, once it comes to a rolling boil, i drop my desired amount of herbs in the water. i turn the heat right down and let it steep for an hour , sometimes longer. The longer you let it steep , the more gets extracted from the plant! Then i strain it through a fine strainer into a large jug and i drink this throughout my day. For those who would prefer to brew a cup at a time, bring your kettle to a boil, pour the hot water into a heatsafe mug, and steep 1 to 2 teaspoons of loose herbal tea. You can use a reusable tea bag, or get those single use ones from amazon. Enjoy!

    • Wormwood herb is not meant for long-term use. Make sure you don’t exceed recommended doses because excessive consumption could be highly toxic. It may be best to use wormwood in dried form, which contains little, if any, of the volatile oil thujone. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should not take wormwood.

wormwood could be unsafe for internal use due to the toxicity of thujone oil. However, it’s considered to be safe when taken by mouth in the amounts commonly found in food and beverages, including bitters and vermouth, as long as these products are thujone-free.
