For yarrow, the stems, leaves and flowers are all considered medicinal. You can use the dried herb for tea, salves, and tinctures! My yarrow is hand picked, dried at home and packaged all by hand! Truly small and home based!
To get the best results from my herbal teas, i boil a medium sized pot of water on the stove, once it comes to a rolling boil, i drop my desired amount of herbs in the water. i turn the heat right down and let it steep for an hour , sometimes longer. The longer you let it steep , the more gets extracted from the plant! Then i strain it through a fine strainer into a large jug and i drink this throughout my day. For those who would prefer to brew a cup at a time, bring your kettle to a boil, pour the hot water into a heatsafe mug, and steep 1 to 2 teaspoons of loose herbal tea. You can use a reusable tea bag, or get those single use ones from amazon. Enjoy!
